- nick trademarks a very well trimmed chin curtain and a vast selection of expensive italian suits which were made with a fabric that was designed to be 'unbreakable,' which he uses even when he teaches PE. the scent of the manly cologne he uses differ from day to day. luckily, for those who dislike cologne, his selection is of the mild type (he also smells like cigarettes since he smokes quite a lot). to summarize, he's simply the epitome of badassness and manliness.

- niccolo, or simply nico or nick, was born and raised in america but had immigrant parents from italy. they lived a simply but difficult life; simple, where they didn't need or even aimed for a luxurious lifestyle, was satisfied and thankful with the little things. difficult, because of niccolo's attitude. nick wasn't the brightest in the class, but was the most noticeable. he often got into fights with his classmates and with his schoolmates. his parents always got called into the school because of his unfailing temper, but the embarrassment he gave to his parents wasn't enough; he also got into fights within their neighborhood which made 'making friends with the neighbors' a tad bit difficult. all these and he was still in primary school.
before he started high school, his father left nick and his mother because he could no longer tolerate nick's attitude. nick insisted his father left because of another woman and stated that they, both he and his mother, didn't need him, to imply his position as the new head of the house. his mother, however, was distraught.
during high school, he was still the same then but with backup and more enemies. his mother wasn't called to the school much because he hadn't any fights there; he hardly went to school. in this time, it wasn't necessary for him to be angry in a fight. the thrill of a fight quickly boiled his blood and boosted his excitement; it was like an addiction. all the fighting has given him a visit to a prison cell once when he was caught when the cops came. luckily for him, his loving mother was quick to bail him out. after that, he returned to his normal routine like nothing happened. it wasn't common for nick to be injured in a fight, which boosted his ego thinking he was simply stronger and tougher than his friends and their enemies, but little did he know, his powers were already developing slowly.
a few years later, he came home to a very painful sight: his mother was lying face down on the floor, pale, eyes closed and had a weak pulse. he quickly ran outside to find help, searching for his friends to assist him. unfortunately, the people he came up first were their enemies who decided to gang up on him. he refused to fight them and told them that he's simply seeking help for his mother, but was only considered a coward and they still carried on beating him up. while left with no other choice, he decided to fight them hoping he would win and get on with his business as quickly as possible. this was the first time he fought an entire gang alone. this was also the time when his powers fully manifested because of the desire to save his mother. even when he was completely outnumbered, he quickly took them down one-by-one each with a single punch. when he was punched, kicked or was hit behind the head with a steel pipe, he didn't flinch or even felt pain or was injured. he came out victorious in the fight and continued straight to the hospital. sadly, before the ambulance came, his mother had already left this world. he blamed himself for taking too much time.
not one person came to mourn for his mother, not even his friends, who he thought would comfort him in this difficult time. he was the only one who stood over her grave before she was swallowed by the earth.
nick spent most of his days indoors and reminisce the very little memories he had in their home. while looking around the house, he found a decent amount of money within an envelope and was entitled to him from his mother. it was at this moment that he decided to start a new life. his only problem was, he didn't know where to start.
after a few days, he decided to take a stroll and saw a commercial about heroes from a television store. it was an interview of wonderman who spoke about the school VU which gave him an idea. he quickly remembered the day when he was ganged up, was beaten with steel pipes and came out completely unharmed. he thought, was he the same as wonderman? if so, maybe it was possible for him to enroll in VU. the idea felt outrageous to him, but it was the first idea that came to his mind. he didn't think it was his only option (he wasn't even sure if he was even 'super powered' or not), but the thought of the opportunity was so overwhelming that he went on with it anyway and the next day, he left for new york, leaving his past behind and went onward to find his 'new life'.
While enrolled to VU, learning how to strengthen his power wasn't the only thing he learned but to 'be normal and not hurt anyone with a simple handshake' was also a priority (controlling his strength was second on his list). his temperament was still the same, but a least this time, he didn't end up punching the closest person (controlling his temper was first). the death of wonderman affected him greatly since he considered him as his role model. his death, however, made nick decide that he would dedicate his life to VU and for the betterment of the world.

- PRIMARY POWER: invulnerability. nick is immune to any form of physical damage, to heat and fire (except for his hair and glorious beard), to extreme cold, but can be frozen with manipulated ice. he cannot be injured and has unbreakable bones. he is not, however, immune to deceases, telepathic or telekinetic attacks, and attacks that can cause an abnormality to his normal bodily functions. his invulnerability lowers as damage piles up but depends on the damage he receives: a low level attack could only takes small percentages of his invulnerability where a moderate attack is slightly faster, estimating 8-10 hits would bring his power to a low but would not be able to shut it off. a powerful attack, however, can half his power or, if powerful enough, could completely shut off his invulnerability. gradually, his invulnerability returns to normal when he is resting.
SECONDARY POWER: enhanced strength. nick has taken a large amount of time in learning (and is still learning new ways) to control his strength because his weakest is already above normal human limits. because of the time he spent understanding his power (unlike his invulnerability which happens to be 'just there'), he has been able to number certain percentages for his limits, e.g., from 10%, which can stop speeding cars, to 50%, where he can crush a building gradually. unfortunately for him, his human rationale lowers as he increases his limit. as of the moment, his highest limit is 50% because anything above that could be dangerous and he might become uncontrollable. nick thinks that the above 50 percent's range is wider compared to the the lower 50, making his highest attainable strength limit unknown to him. if he does reach the higher limit, he becomes too strong that his own body could not handle it. even though he could destroy buildings easily, becoming overpowered has a price. starting from 70%, his muscles damage themselves and swelling occurs. from 80%, his skin starts to break and when he reaches 90%, his body would degrade very quickly that 100% could lead to his death.
