- FACE CLAIM: PERSONA, Chie Satonaka - Casey Clarke
- Fair, even toned skin, boyishly short brown hair, and dark, coffee colored eyes that are deceptively human-like. Casey has the atypical lean and mean build of an athletic teenage girl. She appears light in the muscle apartment, but this, as with most things about her, is a facade. Her wardrobe isn't varied, with a light green, high-collared track jacket being her "signature" look. Otherwise, she's known for her plaid skirts -- with short black tights worn underneath for modesty -- and simple black dress shoes. She's fond of wearing a stylish pair of yellow-rimmed reading glasses, mostly for looks.

[attr="class","appbold"]PERSONALITY:
- Casey likes to give the impression that she's a normal person like everyone else, and the lengths she goes to project this image reveals much about her true self. On the outside, she's a cheerful sort of person who aspires to help people as best she can, like any good hero. Unfortunately, she's very naive and clueless about how the real world works. She is also notoriously literal-minded and gullible. All of this stems from her inexperience with real world affairs.
This doesn't mean that Casey is an idiotic doormat -- she's the complete opposite. Despite not knowing much about life, she's open-minded and capable of retaining a great deal of information. Though gullible at times, she won't often fall for the same trick twice, and she'll not hesitate to assert herself if she knows she's being taken advantage of. She's capable of standing up for herself when she feels strongly for or against something, and she's known to be passionate and outspoken about her opinions. Though she's new to the whole "socializing" thing, Casey has developed something of a sassy side, with a love for quips and a tendency to be demanding and impatient. She still has the interests of others at heart, however, and can be quite selfless if needed.
On a more somber note, Casey fears that people will ostracize her upon discovering her secret. This fear can make her paranoid if she feels someone will catch on, to the point where she often prefers to be alone rather than be around her friends for significant periods of time. At times, feelings of depression can instill strong feelings of jealously towards human beings, feelings that she is constantly trying to bury. At her core, Casey hopes to eventually be accepted for what she is, rather than be condemned for it.

- There once existed a man who was considered one of the few known masters of papyrokinesis; his name, now remembered by few, was Brendan Clarke. Once a renowned superhero who was hailed as a prodigy, he was publicly disgraced in the wake of Eric Evers's death, and when he faded into obscurity, the controversy surrounding his fall from grace was largely forgotten by most of the general public. These events greatly soured his opinion of a public he swore to protect, and though Clarke made a personal oath to restore his name, he had an unorthodox plan to do so. This was how he created a golem of pure paper that was a near perfect imitation of a human being. Shaping it after his only child -- a girl who had left his wife following their divorce -- and naming it Casey, he trained her for five years, attempting to cover most of the grade school level education needed to succeed in a university and, at times, her papyrokinesis; while he was no teacher, he was moderately successful at preparing her for university level school work. From there, he contacted a recruiter from Vireximus University and informed them that his "child" had developed powers like his own.
Before Clarke sent his creation away, he instructed her to keep her identity a secret until she gained the same level of prominence and respect that he once had. When that day came, she was to reveal what she was, and who created her: the forgotten hero who had always loved the city that shunned him. That day, Clarke hoped, would be the day he'd be revered once more.

[attr="class","appbold"]POWERS:
- PRIMARY POWER: Paper Golem - Casey's greatest secret is that she's a paper golem, the pet project of a master papyrokinetic with enough skill to mold his materials into intelligent, lifelike constructs with the looks, personality, and feel of a real person. Her body, though human in appearance, is nothing more than layer after layer of paper that has been artificially hardened; the end result is a body that's over three-hundred pounds, doesn't bleed, and has no need for food, sleep, or even oxygen. Thanks to some coaching and the fact that she has no stamina limit, Casey has learned to overcome her body's weight in order to have a decent amount of mobility; however, she's not good at reacting quickly, so she's easily surprised or ambushed. With some exceptions, Casey doesn't feel any pain at all, which is both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, she can stay active indefinitely, but on the other hand, her body can still suffer damage if kept under strenuous conditions.
Her body's greatest flaw is its extreme susceptibility to fire and water, for very obvious reasons. Any contact with either element is excruciatingly painful for her, and in extreme cases can even kill her. Water damage can eventually heal via drying, but injuries suffered through burns will last forever.
Though her body appears to be human, there are a few key tells that can give it away. For one, though her skin is made of vellum, it feels nothing like actual skin. There's also the fact that the durability of the body makes cutting into it very difficult, to the point where a blade would more than likely be stuck inside her should she receive a deep enough cut. If an open cut were to be examined, however, one would find a paper-colored texture inside with a pulpy texture. In addition, coming into contact with water will make her skin's color fade, smudge off, and bubble up in places; while fire will cause ashes to fall off and pieces to blow away. Taking all of this into consideration, she must exercise extreme caution to avoid having her true identity revealed. - SECONDARY POWER: Paper Manipulation - An unintentional side effect of Casey's creation, something even her creator didn't foresee, was the development of papyrokinetic powers of her own. Though her level of skill is far lower than that of her creator, she has grasped the basics of moving paper mentally, hardening or sharpening it, and forming basic shapes such as weapons and shields for offensive and defensive purposes. The process of altering the state of paper as well as keeping multiple sheets in a cohesive shape is mentally taxing for a mere golem, meaning that overusing this gift can greatly weaken her. Another hurdle is the mental focus required to ensure that she doesn't accidentally harm herself through manipulation of herself rather than her intended target. Fortunately, with enough concentration, she can actually make repairs to herself should she suffer non-burn related injuries.
