- Ainsley had always been a troublemaker, even in her early years. Stubborn, aggressive, and prone to standing her ground even when she knew she was wrong, the child was a fighter if anything. By the time she turned eleven and she began to develop her powers, everything just went downhill, particularly seeing as her parents both had powers and were trying to stay off the radar. Their child's powers seemed to throw that all away through, especially with her knack for using them in gory displays of power. In the end, it merely came down to trying to teach her to be a hero with those powers rather than struggling to convince her not to use them at all. It wasn't like they'd proved themselves capable of controlling her violent urges in the past, before she had powers. How could they now?
Luckily for Ainsley's parents, their desire to instill strong morals into the girl did come to work. However, unfortunately so, it happened to work too well. Come the middle of her high school years, Ains was back to throwing herself back into harms way, but no longer just in school yard brawls. Rather, the girl had become something of a vigilante, patrolling the streets and trying to stop small-time criminals. This need to protect- along with that violent streak- wasn't something Ainsley grew out of, and upon graduating, she'd find herself applying to Vireximus University, wanting to further her skills, much to her parents' chagrin.

- OSTEOKINESIS: Since a young age, Ainsley has been capable of manipulating her own bones and producing calcium growths off of them. These calcium growths can be formed into any shape- sharp, blunt, or otherwise specialized- though are limited by the amount of calcium within her body at any given time. Once created, they are stuck in whatever shape they formed until broken down and returned to her body or entirely broken off. Broken pieces cannot be manipulated or returned to her body, leaving Ainsley prone to deficiencies after fights. These deposits have no marrow or blood supply and therefore do not bleed when broken. However, seeing as in order to be used for combat they have to break through her skin, growing them is painful, they leave scars behind, and are generally covered in blood upon bursting forth. Along with that, similar to the removal of a knife from a stab wound, upon being broken down and reabsorbed into her body, the wounds they create tend to bleed. Ainsley has to be incredibly careful where these deposits are made to avoid losing a good deal of blood after reabsorbing them.
Due to the fact that they are limited to the amount of calcium within her body, often times it is necessary for Ainsley to deplete her actual bones of calcium, making them incredibly brittle and highly susceptible to breaks. If too much is taken, her bones will lack the ability to hold her weight and snap under her. For this reason, Ains refuses to make hollow deposits longer than 3ft long, with a 2in diameter at the widest part. Solid deposits will not be made longer than 2ft long with a 1in diameter. For each additional deposit being created, this amount is divided between them. Any deposits created at joints create a stiffness in said joint and cause pain upon moving that joint, due to the muscle and skin moving around something created through injury and due to the joint not having its full range of movement anymore. Typically, Ainsley manipulates the deposits into solid, needle-like blades growing out of her knuckles. While only about .25cm in diameter, are about 6in long, and incredibly sharp along the inner edge and point, capable of both slicing and stabbing.
Her own bones can be manipulated into being denser or lighter, depending on how she divides calcium among them. While this can allow for the hardening of bones- for example, hardening the bones in her hands in order to throw punches with less fear of breaking them- it makes the bones she'd taken from more fragile and therefore more prone to breaking. - ENHANCED REGENERATION: Cuts, burns, bruises, and breaks all heal at an incredibly rapid rate, to a point where smaller wounds(paper cuts, scrapes, and bumps for instance) can practically be watched as they seal themselves up. While larger wounds and blood loss take longer amounts of time to heal, they generally heal around ten times faster than that of the normal human. This ability is passive and entirely beyond Ains' control. It cannot be placed on anyone else, she cannot accept transplants or transfusions- her body will entirely reject them, unless they are from someone who also has enhanced regeneration-, and she is still susceptible to disease, poison, and anything that would kill the average human, along with having the same side-effects as anyone suffering from such things. During her healing periods- regardless of what is healing, up until it is entirely healed- Ainsley must consume triple the calories of what would be considered 'healthy' at minimum. If she doesn't, her body will begin to break down any fat deposits with her, and then protein, resulting in staggering amounts of weight loss if she doesn't keep up and leads to starvation-esque symptoms if allowed to go on without the proper caloric intake for too long. On top of that, due to healing so fast, any broken bones that heal but aren't set must be rebroken, set, and allowed to heal. Her body will not automatically move them back into place. She cannot grow back anything that the average person cannot- her healing process is merely sped up with this ability.
