it was cold and he was bundled up in a coat and two scarves, gloved hands clenched tightly around a styrofoam cup full of tea. it was his day off and he had been told to "leave the library once, dear god" by one of the school's higher ups and he had decided that it would be the perfect chance to visit the luester t. mertz library in the botanical garden.
he hadn't thought it was going to be so cold out, but that was fine with him. it meant there were less people out and about, which made it so that there were less stares and questions and people trying to actually interact with him. which was how he honestly preferred things to be.
taking a drink of his tea, he entered the library, a blast of warm air hitting him and he let out an almost unnoticeable sigh of relief. he didn't like the cold anymore than he liked interacting with people and now that he was mostly out of it, he was a whole lot more relaxed than before.
he glanced around, taking note of the shelves full of books and something similar to a smile appeared on his face as he wandered deeper into the library, long, white hair trailing behind him. OPEN // someone come annoy bai on his day off yeah man yeah

listen to the color of your dream. Well well well. What did we have here? It seemed that the wild librarian had left its natural habitat in favor of a similar environment elsewhere. Such an event hadn't been observed by the average person in years! You see, this librarian had formed an obligate symbiotic relationship with the library in which he resided: he protected the books from being mistreated, while the environment of the library itself protected him from large packs of roaming fangirls and other potentially social situations. Consequently, the elusive Bai Wu had developed an aversion to sunlight, fresh air, humans, joy, and just about anything that wasn't a goddamn book. Or, at least that's how Zeph assumed it worked. Zeph had first noticed the glorified ice statue outside. If it wasn't for that absurdly long hair of his, he probably wouldn't have believed it and assumed the chilled wind was screwing with his eyes. Unless someone was cosplaying as Sephiroth, there was no mistaking that hair. So, having nothing better to do with his day, Zeph followed the out-of-place librarian into the other library, quietly shortening the distance between them with quick strides. "Y'know," he began, to get the other's attention as he made the last few steps so that they were walking side by side, "Most people don't go to places they work when they aren't workin'. And in yer case, I think it'll make the shippers cry if they learn you're cheatin' on your books with these hunks a' paper." Zeph briefly motioned towards one of the shelves to emphasize his point... whatever that might've been. Although his expression was of mock concern, there was a glint in his eyes indicating his typical smile could sneak out at any moment. @ursaring2 | I sincerely hope he's sufficiently annoyed :'D |
