the library was quiet. which made sense, considering that it was a saturday morning and most were asleep in their beds, dead to the the world around them. surprisingly, the person who many thought would've been the one to be sound asleep was, in fact, awake and sitting grumpily at one of the many tables in the library. a frown was on his face as he stared down at the book in front of him, fingers tapping idly on the table as he turned page after page.
to a curious onlooker, the book appeared to be a book on math equations, which would send any normal person running in the opposite direction. in reality, the book was one of his many (secret) historical romance novels, and it was simply hidden by one of his illusions. he yawned, reaching up to cover his mouth, before leaning back in his chair and looking around the library.
it was empty, barring the librarian, as it had been for the last hour. shrugging, he shoved some loose hair out of his face and returned to his book. OPEN // what is this i just do not know but oh well. yeah it's open so come one, come all!

Quite nights and lonely days are best spent reading Jade walked into the quite library. She looked around, it was practically empty. Walking among the shelves she browsed the shelves, looking for a book that she needed for one of her classes, needing to study. Picking up one after a few minuets of looking she almost just went to check out, but then she noticed one person sitting all alone. And for some reason, Jade sighed and decided to sit down across from them, and open her book to study. Something that she didn't like seeing was someone having to do things alone, now the library wasn't a place for talking but sometimes a presence could be nice. So, she quietly sat down and just began reading in hopes that maybe the person wouldn't feel so quite alone. She glanced up at the book she was reading some math thing, man no wonder he looked so grouchy she'd hate studying math. Good thing she was reading history, a subject she was actually fond of. ((Hope you don't mind me joining? :3))

he didn't pay much attention to the person who had just entered, engrossed in his book and knowing that no one would actually sit by him, especially with all the other tables open in the place. or, at least, he wouldn't sit at an already occupied table if there was an empty one to sit at.
the sound of a book hitting the table made him look up only to see a black-haired woman sit down across from him. he frowns, staring at the woman. usually he wouldn't be so adverse to someone sitting near him but it's really too early for him to actually muster up the will to deal with anyone. his frown grew and he glanced at his book before closing it, easily memorizing the page he was on.
"morning," he said, leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms. it was too early to be rude, as it would probably only cause some sort of argument and, well, he just didn't have the energy for that today. @jade // it's perfectly fine!

Quite nights and lonely days are best spent reading Jade had began reading her book, without noticing distaste in the boys eyes. She opened it up, and he spoke. Now, that was more then Jade was expecting to get. Her dark eyes looked up and she smiled softly. " Good morning." she replied, glad that he was wanting conversation she didn't really think they could talk to much, but then again with them being the only two in the library she figured they could probably get away with it. " How are you this morning?" It was small talk, but it was talk and hey that was more interesting then having to study. Especially with the poor kid who had to read math. Then again, maybe he liked it. She wouldn't understand that.. but she wouldn't be able to really judge what he wanted to read either. She enjoyed history anyway, and that was a subject most detested and so that would make them both weird, which almost was kind of nice. @ursaring

he felt a stupid amount of glee that he had interrupted her reading, but there was still a tiredly, bored look on his face. he yawned again, reaching up to cover his mouth before he answered her question.
"'m tired," he said, shrugging slightly. "but that's a normal state of being with me." his powers took so much energy out of him that he was more often than not asleep. usually, he made it to his room before passing out but there have been times when he's fallen asleep in a lecture hall or in the library or even in the cafeteria.
"and how are you?" @jade // look at him being nice. i'm so proud. wipes a single tear from eye.

Quite nights and lonely days are best spent reading Jade had a soft smile on her face as she listened to the boy's response. " Ah, yeah I understand.." She commented, Jade used to be tired a lot but that was also because she just used to work so hard at the carnival so much, she never got enough sleep. Twirling a strand of her black hair with her finger she had to think about how she was for a little, she wasn't bad. " Content." Was the only answer that could come to her head, after some thought. " Are you just doing some studying?" She questioned, wondering why he was so tired and in the library. She'd be back in her room if she could be, but studying she could understand. She wasn't a great student but some classes she felt like she NEEDED to get good grades in, and sometimes she just had to get up and study for it. @ursaring

nico shrugged. he wouldn't call it studying, really, but he wasn't going to tell her what he was reading. "yeah. although it's less studying and more memorizing," he lied. he's never really had to study for things before. he just reads it once (or twice if it's particularly complicated) and knows it forever.
he glances at the book she's reading and raises a brow. "history?" he asks, leaning forward to rest his elbows on the table as if he were suddenly interested in the conversation. which he was. history is one of the subjects that he's been interested in since he was a child, surprisingly. partially because of the novels he reads and partially because it's just interesting. @jade

Quite nights and lonely days are best spent reading Jade nodded, she could agree school was just a lot of memorization, but hey! It was a LOT better then the situation she was in before. She liked school to be honest, which was different, but she didn't mind a single thing about it. She noticed he looked at her book, and she nodded. " Yeah.. it's for a class.." she commented looking at the book she smiled. " Though I guess that's not hiding anything since it's not a required one.. I really do enjoy history." She commented with a smile, and shrugged, not sure if he really care but he did seem interested. " It's a lot about word war II." She commented nodding " I really find that time period interesting..." She said, trying to not go into a big long thing about how much she loved history to a stranger, she was sure she would be talking to much and she never really did it to much. But she hoped that maybe he had a comment on it? Maybe he'd have something to say about it, and she wouldn't feel so silly. @ursaring
