- Ines was born in Arkansas to the Brazilian family Soledad. For the first few years of her life she seemed to be pretty average. A bit more rough and tumble than some of the other girls, but in all other ways your average child. As she grew older and began to mature, however, this changed. Ines went through elementary school without incident, but when she entered middle school and the ever wonderful time of puberty she experienced some changes that were more than a bit abnormal. With hair and deodorant came a weird substance that would leak through her skin and cause those she touched to tingle. And, even later down the line, she found herself jumping all the way across the street to escape a gang of hoodlums chasing her home. She'd developed superpowers, and from then on her life would never be the same again.
For the rest of her adolescence Ines would spend a lot of time trying to understand and perfect her powers. This would prove quite easy with help from a notebook her parents pulled out when she explained her changes to them. It turned out she wasn't the first person in her family to experience these strange powers, she was simply the first in a fair number of years. Her great grandfather had had the same things happen to him at about the same time, and assuming that it may pass down to others in his family he kept a journal to make the adjustment easy as possible for his descendant. She went through middle and high school quietly, working hard for grades and money so she could attend Vireximus when she graduated. A year after her graduation from high school she moved to New York City and applied at the university she'd been dreaming to attend, hoping to learn a lot and experience a lot of adventure in the next few years.

[attr="class","appbold"]POWERS:
- PRIMARY POWER: TOXIC SKIN -
a few seconds - 1-2 minutes: Mild numbness. If the contact is through touching of the skin it causes only surface tingling, with none of the sensation reaching beneath the skin.
3-5 minutes: Numbness intensifies. Contact through the skin now begins to affect the muscles beneath, the skin becoming numb and the muscles beginning to become unresponsive.
6-10 minutes: Area begins to stiffen. The muscles become unresponsive and begin to stiffen in place. If contact was through an open wound or the toxin has been swimming through the bloodstream this stage occurs in the 4-5 minute range.
11-15 minutes: Complete paralysis. The muscles become completely stiff, frozen in place until the toxin loses potency. Depending on how long after this time stamp the person is exposed this can be anywhere between half an hour (lower end: 15-20 minutes) to a couple of hours (higher end 35-40 minutes).
It takes time for the toxin to work its way out of the body once its in place. Sweat inducing activity is recommended for surface contamination, but any poison in the bloodstream will need to be fought by the person's immune system or be treated with antivenom.
[/ul][/li][li]SECONDARY POWER: SUPERHUMAN LEGS
EFFECTS OF JUMPING
While she has the ability to perform these jumps at will, maxing herself out causes strain on the muscles in her legs. Jumps of 15-20 feet vertically and 30-35 feet horizontally are her maximum casual distances. The tiredness that comes from these jumps can be compared to what a person would feel hopping or jumping normally, taking many in succession to tire her out.
Jumps beyond her casual maximums cause physical exhaustion and, if done often enough, painful muscle spasms in the muscles used for lift. Ines can only perform these jumps two to three times in succession without experiencing painful and sudden cramping of the muscles. By spacing her jumps by an hour or more this number can increase to 5 or 6 with gradually worse symptoms plaguing her from the third jump onward.
3 Successive Jumps: Muscles begin to experience harsh cramping and become less responsive.
3rd Paced Jump: (-5 Feet Maximum) Muscles begin to become more unresponsive and cramping intensifies.
4th Paced Jump: (-10 Feet Maximum) Pain from cramping begins to escalate, jumps require more effort.
5th Paced Jump: (-15 Feet Maximum) Pain and cramping both grow, making anymore jumps incredibly straining.
6th Paced Jump: (-20 Feet Maximum) Muscles completely stiffen and go into painful spasms, making any further jumping impossible until cramping subsides.[/ul][/li][/ol][/div]
