I won’t ever leave your side again You can hate me, who had left you once I’ll try to endure it, I’ll be in pain, everything for you, oh you I won’t ever let go of this tightly held hand again You can hate me, who had made you cry and left you once I’ll remember it all, I’ll be in pain, for you, for you Don’t say that you can be happy without me I’ll be good to you, I won’t lose you, I’m right next to you Don’t leave, don’t turn around, I can’t let you go like this Even if you leave me like this, you can’t escape me Cause you are my destiny ★ "It's a dog's life" They said, "damn," they said "I wish I could be a dog". A huff of air blew from Giovanni's mouth, smoky against the cold New-York winter. Yeah, he was wandering the streets. There was really nothing to fear. Animal control knew about him, much to his embarrassment. The dog shuddered at the memory from three years prior. No worry getting lost, he grew up in New York and with his enhanced senses, it was even harder getting lost. He supposed the worst part was the people. Big surprise there, right? Dogs did not often wander the busier streets of New York and whether or not the onlooker in question knew of his...condition, comments were made. Children pointed. A few tried to pet him, such as the little blonde girl in the pink coat. Ge growled, she flinched back and her mommy glared, pulling her away from him. He gave the two a satisfying dirty look before continuing on. His tail started to swish. He sat down and the feeling spread to his hind legs. Dammit! The dog pulled his lips up in annoyance. Not this again. Last time it was just a small fist fight between some dumb freshmen. Time before it was already raining (big surprise what it was). He scratched his hind before getting up and continuing to walk, this time pacing himself a little faster with flattened, annoyed ears. What the hell was this stupid city going to do now?

▼ Her heels hit the concrete floor with precise movement, her head lifted up and an expensive cup of coffee was in her hand. Many years later and Eve was still uncertain as to whether or not she would get used to this kind of ‘forest’. It wasn’t like Ohio, where wildlife was everywhere. Or at least the kind that she knew. But being here wasn’t too bad, being a counselor for the university was enjoyable, it even brought many interesting people within her office.
Eve quickened her pace, her long, yellow scarf trailed behind her. She then look in a deep breath and smelled the oncoming storm that was rolling in for the day, which was fairly faint beyond the other mixed scents of the city. Bring her arm out, a large purse slide down her arms, people who were paying attention, dodged her arm, others that didn’t fare as well she moved for them. Her eyes wandered within the contents of her purse and pulled out what she needed, an umbrella.
She could’ve lived without the item, but she didn’t want any onlookers wondering what crazy well to-do woman wouldn’t protect herself from harmless rain. Eve flickered her wrist and the umbrella grew in length with a click, a button was pressed and it fwooped open. The people within the radius jumped back, some looking up at the sky wondering why it wasn’t getting wet yet. Eve raised it to be above her head and she continued her strut, umbrella in one hand and coffee in the other. After walking a while, the patter of raindrops hit her umbrella and finally everyone else followed suit of bring their umbrella, protecting themselves.
Eve looked out and noticed a particular fellow, a guard for the school. She tilted her head and speed up and found herself next to the dog. Eve looked down and smiled. ”Looks like you need some protection.” She chuckled and took a sip of her coffee. ”Are you heading back to campus.” Her eyes wandered back down, her smile tugging.

I won’t ever leave your side again You can hate me, who had left you once I’ll try to endure it, I’ll be in pain, everything for you, oh you I won’t ever let go of this tightly held hand again You can hate me, who had made you cry and left you once I’ll remember it all, I’ll be in pain, for you, for you Don’t say that you can be happy without me I’ll be good to you, I won’t lose you, I’m right next to you Don’t leave, don’t turn around, I can’t let you go like this Even if you leave me like this, you can’t escape me Cause you are my destiny ★ In a few minutes he was able to distinguish the smell of the oncoming rain, beyond the rancid, eclectic and busy smell of the city and its occupiers at least. His nose twitched and ears flattened. Great, rain, he almost would have preferred a robbery, or a shooting. At least those were dry. His pace quickened as he weaved from person to person. Maybe it was just his…standard of hygiene compared to the average german shepherd, but to Giovanni, getting his thick, long wet was unbearable and by the feel of it, it was going to get pretty wet pretty soon. Sure enough, he felt a drop splatter on his fur, and then another and another. His ears flattened further, tail lowered in annoyance. Amidst the rank and rain, however, he did notice the familiar scent of Eve. The woman was easy to recognize and pinpoint, there were not a lot of mothers on campus and the apparently, to a dog, the scent of the hormones involved never quite went away. And well…Eve herself had quite a mix of…hormones in her scent. Truthfully, it made Giovanni feel a little uncomfortable around her. Though he could often handle any instinctive urges, they still sat there and Giovanni dreaded the day he wouldn’t be able to stop them. He opened his mouth, trying to limit as much smelling as he could while the woman approached, ”Looks like you need some protection.” she said, matching his pace. At least she had an umbrella. ”Are you heading back to campus.” He grunted a <thanks> and nodded his head. Ears still flat, tail still lowered. He opened his mouth, trying not to smell where the woman had been, what she was feeling, who she had talked to. He preferred not to know such details without the proper human protocol. He looked back up at her with a look that said <you?>

▼ The dog grunted, possibly in thanks, Eve’s smiled stayed for the dog. He was there after she came in, he did his job despite his handicap and Giovanni did it well. But behind her smile was concern, she noticed he seemed annoyed, her inner beast slightly growled. No, no, no, can’t have those thoughts, it could just be the weather that was happening today, she knew that dogs got that kind of overly wet scent especially in rainy weather like this. That could possibly what he seems annoyed with.
Once more, she brought her coffee to her lips and took a long gulp. But then looked down and blinked once, her smile never letting up. ”Yes, I’m heading up there myself. I have some files I need to go over for the day.” She sighed, looking out at the crowd. It wasn’t the fact she was annoyed with her job, but it was very lively, even superheroes need someone to talk to.
This brought her back to her younger years, when she and her husband where both going for their psychological degrees, hoping to avoid the path of heroing. Eve chuckled to herself, remembering that people would avoid him more than herself. Of course, when she went for her masters, she had to go back to those days; her head turned away from her company for a short time. And in that time her stomach knotted up, the last 13 years went by so quickly, but then that happens when one tries to keep oneself busy.
Eve then looked back at Giovanni. ”So, how long do you think this weather is going to last?” Something like this never really bothered her, living in Ohio, the weather there could go bonkers but it was soothing but melancholic at the same time. Eve lifted her head up slightly and took a deep breath in, trying to sense the weather herself. Sadly in her human form, even though her sense of scent was stronger than most humans, it was better in her were form.

God, why did he even want to go into this career? He couldn’t even remember at this point. Not that that mattered. The point was he did it. And now he was here, thinking about it was stupid and useless. ”So, how long do you think this weather is going to last?”He shrugged, sorta, before sniffing the air, fighting past the barrage of smells. His hairs lifted slightly, skin prickling as it opened itself to the world and senses around it. It was going to get heaver in 15, finish in <30>...probably. But there was something else in the air. Subtle, but getting stronger as they walked on. He shook his head a little and sighed, keeping an eye on the passing crowds. ooc: omy I'm soooo so sorry this took so long. Do you want a 3rd person in?

▼ Eve looked down at the dog. She tried to place a finger as to if she’s even seen who he was before this form took place. Being stuck in an office, listening to students, nothing really popped up about Giovanni till a student actually came up and told her about him. Eve’s always been curious about him and started to hang around him.
Always so tense.
”30, huh.” She peeked beyond the protection of the umbrella. Not a long storm, typical. She looked down at him once more, he shook his head, what was about to go down?
Ooc: We’re even now! And for the love of, YES others can join!
