TWENTY-THREE 5'3"/110lbs | FEMALE STUDENT - JUNIOR |

[attr="class","appbold"]PERSONALITY:
- when it comes to heroes in training, elizabeth 'beth' breedlove is maybe not the best example. disorganised and, honestly, something of a flustered mess most of the time, she doesn't present the most publicity-friendly image. beth's time at vireximus has largely been shaped by her stress-prone nature, and as something of a pessimist she doesn't hold out much hope of things getting that much better any time soon.
- it's not all negative, though, and beth does have her good points. you might not expect it from a girl with waist-length turquoise hair, but she's a sensible sort who knows her limits and capabilities well. she's also not half bad when it comes to her academics - she's intelligent, and studious enough that coursework and assignments are always done on time. but this attitude and her heavy extracurricular load means that she has trouble striking a work/life balance - it doesn't take much to tip things in one direction or the other. she's a rather terrible combination of adventurous and easily influenced - if someone invites her to do something, even (especially) something risky, she finds it very hard to say no. she's brave, yes, but not in the sense that allows her to tell people she can't come out or do what they want. this does lead to her being a little resentful of feeling like a doormat, and she can be quite petty about the whole thing, but don't expect her to say anything about it even when asked. beth is altogether very dishonest about her feelings, and probably won't speak up even if she's invited to.

- beth is a little older than most of her classmates, and that is because her enrolment in vireximus was not two years ago, but six. having moved to new york from london to attend VU and stay with her grandmother, she found it all utterly overwhelming - she was utterly unused to having to use her powers often and correctly, and the workload was very different and much more intense than her private and largely vocational arts school education prior. by the end of her sophomore year she was an anxious, homesick, depressed mess, and put her university education on hold to recover and learn to cope. she's returned to begin her third year fresh and well again, but a gap of four years means she knows absolutely nobody in her class - or in the student body as a whole.
- in her time off beth has been keeping busy, continuing her lifelong study of ballet while working as an assistant dance teacher for the
obnoxiouschildren of wealthy manhattan residents, but continues to live with her grandmother and commutes to work and now university on the subway.

[attr="class","appbold"]POWERS:
- PRIMARY POWER: enhanced agility: beth's primary ability is her superhuman ability to run, leap and perform basically any gymnastic feat you could think of. she's not exactly at 'leap tall buildings in a single bound' levels, but she's entirely capable of jumping to catch the top of a fifteen-foot wall and pulling herself over before landing in a roll on the other side and continuing to run without missing a beat. acrobatics come easily to beth, whether it's a handspring away from danger or a trapeze leap across a gap, but before her secondary power developed a few years ago doing anything too complex was rather risky. being able to execute the moves didn't necessarily mean being able to do it without hurting herself. her strength and speed are no greater than any ordinary human's, and her stamina only extends as far as a well-trained athlete's.
- SECONDARY POWER: enhanced coordination: whereas her primary power developed at about 14, beth's secondary ability only really showed itself a little after her 20th birthday - and what a help it was. enhanced coordination has given her much better awareness of her own body and its position in her environment, and in practice it allows her near-perfect balance and an ability to right herself in mid-air to land from reasonable drops without injury - from about twenty feet given proper drop-roll technique.
