THE SIREN
Jolly Sailor Bold ;
Dylan walked the sandy path of the beach he had left his shoes rest near a wooden log covered in algae that rested on the beach. The bluenette always had this ocean-like look on him. From his unusual hair, which had soft shades of blue that reminded people of waves and the foam, and his big blue eyes to his sense of clothing that always included the aforementioned color and seashells everywhere.
Naturally the kid felt like the beach was almost his home place, and he had a thing…sort of tradition where he would go to a beach and just have some fun in the water from time to time.
He walked closer to the water, a bit of the foam already touching his fingertips. At first there was no reaction, but just a few giggles coming from him. Dylan looked around and as he had seen nobody he simply started to sing. He enjoyed that a lot, it was like a hobby of him, and even if he hadn’t realized his voice –when his powers were not on use and he didn’t lose control- was quite beautiful, like a skylark or maybe a flute. It was soft and tender and was in harmony with the sound of the waves. It was a bit late and in that place there was surprisingly and seemingly nobody.
Moving a bit closer and submerging his whole feet some little silver and blue scales started to perk from his skin, they were just a few though. This made him smile a bit he knew what was coming once he reached knee-level water. As he made his way even more a little wave ran all the way to splash against his legs. This was the last drop needed, enough water for his clothing to simply turn into water and some slimy fabric-like substance. His seashells on his clothing were intact though. And instantly his legs merged together and were covered in blue scales and a big fin now replaced his feet. Dylan kept singing as he decided to sit in a rock. Half of his tail being exposed, but enough covered not to transform back.
