34 - PROFESSOR OF FLIGHT - BI FRIENDS Phoenix is just a fun-loving guy. He spent near a decade having an ace time in Australia as a firee. Maintaining fires was a good job for someone who could manipulate fires and fly around like a possum up a gum tree. Phoenix likes the glory, and let it feed his ego. That didn't make him any less friendly, though. ENEMIES It's hard to imagine someone so amiable and doing the good work to make enemies. Of course, there'll still be people who aren't fond of people who have tickets on themselves. Phoenix's arrogance and careless behaviour can be his downfall. LOVERS Phoenix will admit to a few bangaroos in his time, and he is fond of a shag. You won't catch doing anything like that with students, though. But uni staff are a whole different story. HELLO FRIEND. I SEE AUSTRALIA AND FIRE AND FLIGHT, SO PLOTS MUST BE HAD BETWEEN ZEPHYR AND THE PHOENIX. IT IS A REQUIREMENT.
In a nutshell, if Ignatius didn't have powers pertaining to fire, Zephyr here would think that he's the perfect human being. BUT SINCE HE DOES, Zeph is going to go out of his way to try to make Ignatius hate him. (A supervillain severely burned most of his body and had a hand in the murder of his parents, so you could say that Zeph has an extreme irrational fear and hatred for all pyrokinetics, though he'll never admit it outright).
Zeph was actually born in Australia, so he may have known the Phoenix from his childhood. Prior to the attack, he would have had a much higher opinion of the hero, though that opinion would have turned bitter in a heartbeat. If you want, Ignatius could have been a family friend of the Elpis (Zeph's original last name) family? IF YOU WANT TO GO THAT ROUTE I'LL TELL YOU MORE THINGS B/C THERE ARE MANY OPTIONS THAT COULD HAPPEN WITH THAT.
Also, Zeph has a not-entirely-authentic Australian accent (he's been in the states so long that it SHOULD have faded by now) as well, so regardless of what their relationship's like, they need to have conversations that the rest of the school population has trouble following )o)
OH AND FLIGHT, yes, Zeph is going to be invading Ignatius's class with jetpacks, that is all 8|
