listen to the color of your dream. The cool, clear afternoon was absolutely perfect for a peaceful walk, a romantic evening, or -- most importantly -- an intense game of capture the flag. Zeph had set up shop by the lake with a fold-up chair and a megaphone. Admittedly, he was a little disappointed that he wouldn't get to participate in the game since his arm was still healing from the spiral fracture Serpenta had given him during the parade down 5th Ave. Still, at least he'd get to play big brother with the various cameras and speakers he had set up around the area (alas, the school administration had refused to give him official access to their security systems) with a remote connection to his phones. Picking up the megaphone, he turned it on and announced, "Oi, capture the flag's startin' in ten minutes, ya lazy blokes!" SO HERE'S HOW THIS THING IS WORKING. I posted this later than I wanted (oops) so I'm giving peeps until midnight EST on June 7 to make at least one post here with all the characters you want involved (if you want some conversations to go on before the game starts, that's totally fine, you can post more than once if you want). But from June 7 onwards, you get to post once and only once every three days (aka every "round") in whatever order you want to say what your character does in the game. At the end of each round, I'll post with Zeph to indicate that a new round started. If you don't post in that round, your turn gets skipped. Also, post length isn't an issue. Post two sentences if you want, see if I care 8| So yeah, LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED )o)

Shading her eyes as she peered across the campus, Riley stretched and warmed up as she scoped out the competition. She recognized a few faces, but as far as she could tell, she wouldn't have any trouble laying the smack-down on anyone who had showed up. Not that she would have to do it alone. She remembered that, at least in high school gym class, capture the flag was played with teams.
Riley's concentration on the upcoming game was broken as Zephyr's message rang out across the lake. Glancing his way in annoyance, she barked, "Sorry, what was that? I don't think your megaphone is loud enough. The people in Brooklyn couldn't hear you." After a moment she approached the fight club president, brushing a strand of hair out of her face and grinning.
"So," she began, "how's this gonna work? Teams? A free-for-all? Or what?"
