[attr="class","appbold"]PERSONALITY:
Drew's personality can't be easily defined, since it got scarred twice, once when he was five and later when he found out about his own powers, but could be resumed as a soft heart holding up a bad façade. The first impression someone would have of him wouldn't be the best one: he's sarcastic and cynical, and loves keeping others under his thumb, with a strange taste for macabre. Being abandoned, then bullied, then forced to hurt others to defend himself, he become a proud individualist, which reduces the number of close friends to a minimal. He's very clever and aware of it, and in most situations will take advantage of this just like he does with words. Although he talks a lot, not everything that comes out of his mouth should be taken seriously - he's not a liar, to be honest he's really sincere when it comes to express an opinion - but being incredibly mistrustful towards anybody due to his past, he'll have his way with words to turn tables according to his own wishes, vaguely making remarks about himself. When he does, he may give you the feeling of saying so much without saying anything concrete.
However, he's good at keeping others' secrets as much as keeping his, and as an alley he's one of the most precious and loyal, treating an alliance with a deep and passionate feeling: even if you two were archenemies or had the most confusing past you could ever imagine, if Drew has to team up with you he will, and will do it great. There's a time for being persons and a time for being allies. Being completely conscious of how hurting others is as easy as hurting himself, Drew developed a curious feeling towards blood, and will easily become aggressive if provoked, taking out one of his razor blades and cutting his wrists to let the dances start. He loves to get involved in a fight since he found out about his powers, and tends to sadomasochistic behaviors when he's too engaged into fighting, repressing common sense until somebody drops an hint about the right thing to do. This, along with an alias such as bloodymary, contributed to diffuse the rumor inside the campus that he was more a villain than a hero.- Drew instead, simply prefers not to choose a side for now(after all, having seen what humans have done to him and what he has done in response, why fighting or protecting them?) and keeps his aggressiveness only for personal affairs, which are often motivated by the secret fear of feeling vulnerable again, just like when he got attacked. Most of his actions are a reflection of this, but maybe as he gets closer to new people it may lessen. Let's focus on the good side, now. If you demonstrate intelligence, strength, dignity or something to be proud of, as well as respect towards him, Drew will probably start to respect you back, and the sarcastic façade will drop, leaving space to a open-minded boy able to show love and affection. Even if he likes to make people believe he's heartless, getting hurt so much made him quite empathetic; he's always aware of what people feels and tends to act like a brother whenever somebody suffers. Suffering is the key words of his character, as it's the switch that turns him from bad to good. He's affectionate and protective, but keeping a friendship or romance with him is quite hard, since being so sensitive causes him to ask for many attentions and noticing their lack.

- Drew was born in New Orleans from a man and a woman who decided to get married and having a child way too rashly. In fact, Drew was just five years old when his parents started planning divorce. The atmosphere inside the house had became almost suffocating and one day they had such a violent talk her mother just packed up things and went away, their last argument being the straw that broke the camel's back. It had been difficult for Drew to recover from his mother's absence, finding himself face to face with his father, whose past had turned rather grouchy and unpredictable. Drew however appreciated his dad taking care of himself instead of going away, too, and managed to keep him free from worries of any kind. During high school, Drew was used to stand bullying from classmates and older students, in part for his cleverness in part for the rumor that he had been kissed by a sophomore. Another boy, though. He kept hoping for a better future and lowered his head, withstanding everything they threw at him.
- Years passed and one particular day he caught the attention of some aggressive bullies who started inflicting him serious wounds. He had never bled so much in his entire life, and as one of the guys was about to hurt him again, Drew's power abruptly awakened; his blood came to life and burst from his wounds into sharp needles. One of these even pierced the body of one of his tormentors, which later died from the injury. Once took to hospital, Drew told everything to his father, which initially refused to accept both his superhuman powers and his sexuality, but within some days got used to the idea. Since the accident, he has some scars all over his body, particularly evident the one on his cheek. He moved to New York and started attending Vireximus University, now a completely new person.
The sense of power he had started to feel as he found out about his own powers totally transformed him: if before he was happy and hopeful, almost childish for his naivety, the chance of turning a wound into a weapon and easily kill another human being brought him to develop a different view of the whole world and his own role in it, and he buried his kindness under a barrier of cynicism and sarcasm. During his first year at the university, Drew found out about his hyper-regenerative skills, and his personality and ominous power ended up giving him the reputation of an anti-hero.

[attr="class","appbold"]POWERS:
- PRIMARY POWER: Drew's main feature is Hemokinesis, control over blood and manipulation of it in and out of his body. While still running inside his veins, Drew can coagulate it to strongly increase his body's resistance to cut and blunt damage, as well as blocking any severe injury from bleeding. He always carries some razor blades with him, in order to quickly cut his veins and set free high quantities of blood. While outside his body, he can manipulate it with no difficulties, making it levitate and condense into forms of any kind. The states the blood can assume while out of his body are three: liquid, viscous and coagulated. While liquid, the blood is harmless and in its natural state; if coagulated, blood is in its most dangerous form, being utterly sharp and solid(it can be turned into spherical forms to inflict blunt damage or needle-like forms to pierce and cut). The viscous state is a bit more tactical: it isn't able to inflict damage of any kind, but the high density is useful for when an aggressive approach isn't enough. Sticky and thick, it is perfect to trap enemies or to absorb hit that the coagulated form wouldn't withstand very well.
- Although being an incredibly strong and versatile power, being based on a fundamental element of the human body brings a lot of risks on pushing such abilities too far. The main threat is excessive blood loss: since his power gets triggered mainly through pouring blood, shedding too much will cause dangerous side effects: a adult can lose almost 20% of blood volume (1 L) before the restlessness begins, and 40% of volume before a shock sets in. Drew, however(both thanks to control over blood and biokinesis), can handle a 40% loss before the first symptom to set in, and a 50% loss before the beginning of shocks. From 50% on, the side effects are potentially letal(death by bleeding, disruption of the necessary body processes, lack of oxygen through the body). Drew has to stay away from dehydration, too - waterless blood can't be shed or controlled.
SECONDARY POWER: Biokinesis. Through the manipulation of biological cells at a molecular level, Drew is able to control his body processes. This allows to regenerate injuries, repair damaged organs and strengthening the immune system. Since this power can affect every single part of the body, Drew can freely fasten his cardiovascular system to produce new blood whenever he shed too much, but no more than two liters per day. He is immune from the risks of smoking or alcoholism, since he can periodically nullify the damage received by regenerating the cells of his liver and lungs, as well as neurons. Apart from the most simple form of regeneration, which have almost no recoil, more complicated recovers(such as regenerating a heavily damaged organ, healing a bruise or a medium-entity injury) lead to collateral damage, which manifests as a series of symptoms, starting from migraines and weakening to faintness. He can't regrow entire limbs nor use his Biokinesis on others. In order to use his skills properly, Drew must drink a lot and often: dehydration will prevent him from managing blood and body cells.
