| I'M TRYING TO HIT THE MARK but i'm shooting with broken arrows | @ninjaofcheese LET'S DO THIS n/a | First projects were handed out for her first teamwork class. Of course, even thought it was teamwork didn’t mean everyone wanted to participate. Tsubaki waited at the designated spot with a pile of books that was partly her part of her research and the other half was one of three partners. The young woman sat there and flipped through one of the books, a pencil in hand ready to underline if something was important.
She was cornered at the end of class. Willis stared down at Tsubaki, who in return looked up with innocent eyes. Willis then straightened his lips. “Ok, if you wanted me to do something you could ask out loud instead of forcing me to use my power.” Tsubaki tilted her head, a small smile on her as Willis sighed and shook his head. “I. I just was not way too sure how you would’ve reacted.” Willis sighed and Tsubaki chuckled. “Yep, nothing wrong with asking.” She placed her backpack down and took out their syllabus that had the requirements for their first project. Both scanned over it. “Ok, so that’s what you’re doing?” Willis nodded his head as Tsubaki pointed to what he was going to do, “Ok, that shouldn’t be too hard. Make sure you do help out a little.” She looked back up with serious eyes at the other to-be hero who had just then disappeared.
She leaned her hand into her head, weaving her fingers into her hair. Her dark eyes scanned the pages; this distraction was very much welcomed from the people that also sat inside the Student Union building. Tsubaki then sat the pencil down and stretched out, letting out a grunt and then a satisfied sigh.

Despite it being a collage geared towards teaching those who were specially gifted with special powers there were still normal education standards enforced. Which meant electives and worse thing above all of that. Group projects. This was the never ending conflict with school students. Stuck with a random number of random people tasked with completing a collective objective that each of them entirely depended on for those precious points to pass a class. So things fell in to place like every other song and dance of group projects. They received their assignment and were split in to predetermined groups, which for Heiko was probably the worse thing. If he had some semblance of control he could of at least gotten a few hard working people.
Heiko was placed with a student named Willis, a younger guy named Leon, and a small female. Her name was Tsubaki if he remembered right. She shared the same base Japanese heritage as he did, which was assuming a whole lot based just off her name. Aside from that Heiko had little knowledge of. However as the work load was being divvied up and Heiko was talking to Leon about their perspective portions of the project he noticed that the girl and Willis off to the side more so and by the time the exchange was over the girl had quite a few more books than usual.
Did he just... Yeah... Yup. He did. Heiko knew that Willis was a bit of a slacker, and that was being modest, but he some how managed to cleverly pawn off all the work on this poor girl. As if they didn't have enough to do as is. "Anyway man I'll keep in touch with what I dig up." Heiko said ending the conversation between him and Leon.
Rather than to let this stand Heiko walked over to Tsubaki and started off their conversation with. "So I gotta ask." He said with a slight pause before starting up again. "How did you end up with so much work for this project?"

Tsubaki looked up from the book and blinked a few times before smiling that the company that had come by, she sat her pencil down and tilted her head thinking about his question for a moment. A light came to her eyes once the answer came.
“Well, Willis asked me.” She simply said with a big and proud smile, “And I can’t let him down since he asked me.” She looked down at the table, scrunching her shoulders up and was drawing a circle on the table with her finger, slightly looking up with puppy eyes every once and awhile.
Her position then went back to normal and she sighed. “It isn’t bad, especially if it seems like they will help out!” Tsubaki folded her hands over the table and gave a short giggle.
