When Ines had applied to Vireximus she had expected great adventure and excitement around every turn. She'd thought that as soon as she stepped foot in this school her whole life would become so much more interesting. And while in some ways it had, in most ways it simply hadn't. Even after three years of being there, it was hardly different from her life in Arkansas. She went to school, learned a bit more about her powers through studying and her old great grandpa's journal, and then she went to work or went home. The only difference was that now she chose when she went to school and could spend some of her time drinking or partying. Even now, thinking about it kind of disappointed her. And that was exactly what she was doing.
"Well, at least I got out of class a bit earlier than usual." She mused, her accent pulling her words into a lazy run, "Wait...that means I should be able to get up on the rooftops tonight!" President of the Parkour Club and master of the long jump, there was nothing Ines loved more than taking on the city's skyline in an exercise of style and technique. The mere thought of jumping her way up onto the tall buildings of New York City was enough to get her racing for the exit to the school.
Throwing complete caution to the wind she suddenly found herself running towards the exit of campus, bounding energetically over the fountain placed in the square hoping to reach the city even faster. But, as per usual, her excitement got the better of her.
As she blazed her way towards those rooftops she called heaven, someone walked into her path and straight into her. The sudden collision startled Ines enough to cause her to stop and take a step back. Mostly to make sure that whatever she'd done to the other person wasn't serious enough to hold her up. "You okay buddy?" Ines asked, voice not exactly oozing sympathy and the words coming out a bit rushed.

For once, Riley had not been looking forward to getting out of class early. Her professors had really piled on the homework this week, and as much as she would have preferred to put it off, if she had any intention of finishing on time she knew she should at least start on some of it today. And so she made her way across the north east campus, headed for central campus and the dorms there.
As she was walking she saw something fly over the fountain out of the corner of her eye, and as she turned her head to investigate (it was probably some hotshot senior showing off again), another student crashed into her. The force of the impact sent her skidding sideways, and it was all Riley could do to keep her footing.
"Hey! Watch where you're going!" She snapped, struggling for a moment to regain her balance and glaring up at the slightly taller student. "I'm fine," she grunted, standing up straight and adjusting the shoulder straps of her backpack. It was clear she did not appreciate being bumped into, or the other girl's rushed words.
"Where are you headed in such a hurry, anyways?" Riley questioned, still sounding less than friendly. She wondered briefly if the other student was headed for class, but considering the direction she had been running when they had collided, that seemed unlikely. She crossed her arms, though her glare lightened as she gazed at her, awaiting an answer.

Ines was more than happy to see that the girl hadn't fallen over. That would have just been extra hassle. What if she busted something, or split her lip on the concrete, or really did anything but fall with the utmost grace? It would have been such a pain to pick her up and dust her off and assure her she was just fine. Though, as the girl talked and she looked her over it really didn't seem like she'd need any of those things if she had been knocked over.
"Well, ya see, I'm captain of the parkour club and I have this favorite spot up on the rooftops that I need to get to ASAP, and --" Suddenly she was animated again, Ines highlighted the skyline with the palm of her hand as she spoke quickly, face aglow with excitement that only grew with every word before pausing suddenly, "Ya know what, I don't have time to go on explaining the intricacies of my life."
A mischievous spark lighted up Ines's eyes as a wicked thought shot through her mind. This girl didn't seem so busy, not sir she didn't. She could explain why she'd run into her -- an explanation the girl would surely accept -- and get where she wanted to go all through one easy task.
"It'd be so much easier to just take ya with me. C'mon, let's go." Completely ignoring any sense of personal space or pacing Ines moved quickly to reach out for the other girl. If she got her hands on the nameless girl they'd be flying through the air and out the gates in pretty short order.
