- Adalie grew up a few miles outside a small town in Montana. It was a quiet life, her mother died in childbirth, her eccentric father, a technokinetic worked as an inventor.
There house was raided when she was nine. See, complex parts tend to be hard to come by and desperate to continue his work, Adalie's father turned to the wrong people, promised the wrong things and now they were pissed.
He had two things he needed to hide, her and the scanner, the machine would be disastrous in the wrong hands and the people ramming through the door were certainly to be considered the wrong hands. Though its coding was still incomplete, he didn't have time for much else. He installed the scanner to Adalie and she disappeared right before the door to the lab broke down.
She in the networks for months, wandering from computer to computer in confusion. Eventually she happened into the computer of another technokinetic. Communication was weird at first, a collection of weird signs composed of the few things Ada had learned to do over the months. He was able to learn who she was though, and eventually was able to complete and improve upon the coding of the scanner. so she could finally get back into the real world.
They adopted her and life returned to a relative normality for the girl.

- PRIMARY POWER: The plus-shaped machine attached to her right temple acts as Adalie’s primary power. Though both her guardians gave it a name, she calls it Fred for ease. Fred is mentally controlled by the Adalie, it allows her to scan herself into and out of clients by converting her into a sophisticated system of codes, much like an a.i. Once in the network, Adalie can do a number of things such as open programs of the client she is in or transport a program from one client to another. She can modify current programs in the client she is currently residing in but cannot create programs of her own. The speed of moving from client to client is dependent on the strength of internet signal. Because of its incompletion when used, there are many complications with Adalie’s power. Fred has synthesized itself with her brain and to what extent the girl has become a complex code or a.i is unknown. Her powers are dependent upon a network signal of some sort. Though difficult, as she is quite quick and the technokinetic she lived with installed multiple firewalls to protect her, her personal code can be altered while she is residing in a client machine. If the internet fails while she is in the networks she freezes until it is turned back on. If it fails while she is in the client machine she becomes trapped in said machine until the internet is turned back on.
SECONDARY POWER: Fred can also scan objects and store them, as code, in a space Adalie calls Ramona. Scanning the items takes anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 hours depending on the complexity of the item. “printing” them out tends to be 35% quicker, both depending on the strength of the internet connection. She currently has a small plethora of items in Ramona, from bats to cookies. her most prized being an old pair of rocket boots her father made for her mother, they're a bit old, don't quite fit well and are not very user friendly but they're good enough for adalie.
