With headphones blocking all sound from reaching her ears Lark decided that the best plan for her now would be to walk around the Queen's mall. She kept feeling the way the air moved to make sure that she didn't bump into that many people. Of course there was a few mishaps, but she apologized a little too loudly and then moved on, that's how it went. It was the weekend so Lark didn't have any classes she needed to go to, that meant she could have the day to herself, getting new cloths and eating stupid messy food that she enjoyed, but always managed to get anywhere but her mouth. It was wonderful. So now she was wondering slowly towards the smell of food, hoping that it led her towards the food court and she could get something.

Lark finally made to the place where the scents were coming from. Her music stopped as she took off her headphones and let them hang around her neck. She had no idea what she wanted to eat. Preferably a burger, maybe pizza. Lark started the strange clicking noise that she used in her echolocation process and moved towards one of the food shops. Lark stopped right behind somebody who was already ordering food from the place. They ordered fries. That was usually a good sign that the place would have burgers. The green haired girl smiled and stopped clicking, it made people more comfortable around her so why not. When the person in front of her left with their food Lark stepped forward.

"Could I get a cheeseburger with everything on it, please?" She asked quietly. The person must have heard them because they soon came back with a tray and handed it to Lark. "Will that be all?" Lark nodded and the person said how much the meal would cost. After a little bit of feeling the money and trying to figure out what each coin cost she handed over the proper amount. She took the tray and began her clicking again, trying to find and empty table to sit at and relax. It was pretty packed today so she took a while shuffling around, but she finally found a table that nobody was sitting at. She put the tray down and took a seat. It was quiet loud around her. She tried stopping all the sound in the area, and after a bit of focusing all sound in the room stopped, but then started again after Lark gave herself a headache. 

Lark could hear people getting confused so she kept a straight face and put on her headphones again to eat. She crossed her legs on the chair as if she was sitting on the ground as this method of sitting had always seemed more comfortable to her. Then she grabbed the burger and took a bite. Lark slowly began to wonder if somebody might figure out she had changed the sound level for that quick amount of time. She bit the inside of her cheek and started to worry as she ate the burger. More than once she missed her mouth and got sauce on her face, probably making her look weirder than she was, but she'd fix the mess before she left the table, she just hoped nobody looked too closely at her for now.
